To celebrate 40 years of education at Laverton, the school is holding an anniversary weekend.

On April 28th, from 7:30pm to 10:30pm, a catered ‘get together’ will be held in the school hall at a cost of $25.00 per head, which includes softdrink, beer, wine and food.

An Open Day will be held on Sunday 29th April, from 11:00am to 4:00pm, at which time you may browse around the school, look at the various photographic displays, memorabilia, etc. Lunch will be available, by way of a ‘sausage sizzle’ (or similar) along with some activities to amuse the young ones, whilst you’re busy ‘catching up’ with your old mates.

The existing school buildings are to be demolished and the whole area redesigned with innovative recreational and educational facilities with a new Prep to year 12 college being built on the Laverton Secondary College oval. This will be your last chance to reminisce about the old days, in the old school!

The committee would appreciate the loan of any memorabilia, photos, certificates, uniforms, etc. for display purposes. If you can provide any of these, or would like to help on the day, or assist on the committee, please contact us.
