Finding enough volunteers to keep the canteen running is a challenge for schools of all sizes.

In devising a solution for Killarney Heights Public School, two enterprising parents have also paved the way for canteens to become more profitable and for lunch orders to be healthier, cash-free and parent friendly.

17 November (Saturday) 2007 - Menzies Creek Primary School Reunion of past students and families, commencing at 3pm and concluding at 9pm at the school. A draft Primary School Charter that simplifies the curriculum and proposes core areas of learning has been released by the Australian Primary Principals’ Association, which represents more than 7,000 Government, Independent and Catholic primary schools with a combined attendance of almost two million students.
